Case | Players 1st

Players 1st got a website that automatically adapts to each market

Players 1st wanted to migrate their website from Webflow to the HubSpot CMS. HubSpot was particularly attractive to them because they wanted to bring everything together in one place.

With HubSpot, they could also take advantage of Smartrules features, which, based on a variety of criteria, allow companies to personalize content and create a more relevant experience for visitors, leads, and customers.

Udfordringen

One static website – many different markets

Players 1st is a Danish SaaS company that measures and improves member experiences in sports and leisure clubs. Their website was in Webflow, and they wanted to bring everything together in one place in HubSpot.

But the move wasn't the whole ambition. Players 1st targets clubs in several countries, and one static website showed all visitors the same thing, regardless of where they came from.

Therefore, Players 1st wanted a site that adapts to the visitor and shows exactly the content that is relevant to their specific market. The task also required a tight deadline.

Expanded design with new templates

SmartRules and new templates

In addition to migrating HubSpot and setting up SmartRules, we have also expanded Players 1st's design with new templates - for example, their product pages. Players 1st had high demands for the deadline for the migration and expansion of their design, which we met with great satisfaction:

"We have had a fantastic experience with our collaboration with Itch Marketing. From the first workshop to the implementation of our HubSpot CMS Website, it has been a positive experience. Every phase of the project has been characterized by professionalism, efficiency and a genuine understanding of our needs. The team at Itch Marketing has delivered a solution that exceeded our expectations, and we are incredibly happy with the final result. We look forward to working with them in the future and can highly recommend them to others."

- Daniel Laursen, CMO at Players 1st

After the website went live, we have continuously helped them expand new modules as new needs have arisen.

The light blue and orange colors, illustrative icons and the graphic, "misaligned" golfers are used across the website's various modules to create a solid common thread with simple effects.

Personalization based on geolocation

We migrated the website from Webflow to HubSpot CMS and set up SmartRules so that the site adapts to where the visitor is located. Product offerings, meeting bookings, and relevant cases change depending on the user's geographic location.

We connected HubDB – HubSpot's database tool – so that testimonials are automatically retrieved and displayed based on the visitor's country. In addition, we expanded Players 1st's design with new templates, including for the product pages, and custom-coded the modules required by the task.

All delivered within the tight deadline that Players 1st had set.

A website that automatically adapts to each market

Players 1st has a website in HubSpot, where everything is gathered in one place, and where the content meets the visitor with what is relevant to their specific market. Product offerings, bookings, cases and testimonials automatically adapt to geolocation, and this improves both the user experience and credibility.

The solution went live on time, and the collaboration didn't stop there. After go-live, we have continuously built new modules as new needs have arisen.

Content automatically adjusts to geolocation

Testimonials are dynamically retrieved and displayed via HubDB

Flexible data management

HubDB automatically retrieves and displays customer testimonials

Part of setting up SmartRules also involved setting up HubDB, HubSpot's database tool that offers a flexible way to manage data without having to make extensive manual updates.

In this case, HubDB automatically retrieves customer testimonials and displays them dynamically.

The different customer testimonials are based on geolocation, which means that website visitors are shown relevant testimonials from their geographic area/country. This helps to improve the user experience and increases the credibility of the company.
