From a heavy system to a website that supports the business

We helped BetaPack improve the customer journey on their website with a modernized design, user-friendly division of two business areas, and dynamic HubDb libraries for products and documentation.
"The solution works really well for us. It has been crucial that we have streamlined our data so that it visually appears professional and is easy for customers to navigate. It has removed a huge administrative burden for us."

Outdated website cost valuable time

BetaPack wanted to renew their old website, which had been serving the company since 2017. The system had become heavy, difficult to update, and more or less a burden that took time and energy away from what really mattered.

They wanted a platform with a more professional look, that was easier to maintain, and that included advanced search functions for products and documentation, which was lacking in the old setup.
Support and proactive sparring

A safe start despite a steep learning curve

The collaboration started with a thorough needs assessment and design development. Together with our HubSpot CMS Developer, Niklas, the BetaPack team received a thorough introduction to the system.

Although the transition from the older system required getting used to, help was always at hand:

“It was a bit of a learning curve to go to a new system and learn the basics, but HubSpot is incredibly intuitive. As part of our ongoing collaboration, I can always call Niklas if I have any doubts about something, and he will send a short video tutorial or explain over the phone what I need to do.”

For BetaPack, success is about more than just a great website; it is about having a partner who understands the entire food chain in the business. Therefore, the collaboration also functions as a proactive sparring partner, who thinks holistically and is always in ongoing dialogue.

Automation lifts the administrative burden

Within BetaPack’s two business lines – packaging and building materials – documentation is extremely important in terms of data sheets, EPDs, installation instructions and much more. Previously, managing data sheets at BetaPack was a manual and time-consuming task, where each individual keyword and link had to be created manually – a process that is almost impossible to keep error-free.

With HubDB, Itch has automated the entire engine room. All technical specifications and documents are now pulled centrally from a database, enabling customers to search and filter their way to the right information in seconds. This has removed a huge administrative burden and ensured that customers always have the latest information at hand.

A scalable website with dynamic libraries

When we sat down with Betapack, the solution was ready: HubSpot CMS. A stable, professional, user-friendly and scalable setup that makes it easy to keep content updated – and that gathers products and documentation in one place, so that things actually connect.

We built a dynamic product library in HubDB, where product pages are generated automatically. This means that Betapack can add and update products themselves without having to mess with code or ask anyone for help.

To increase the usability of the website and make it even easier for visitors to find the right product, we added both a search function and the ability to filter by category. It's a win-win for both: Customers find what they need faster, and BetaPack's employees are relieved of manual work.

Last – but not least – we created a clear division between BetaPack's two business areas, Packaging and Construction. Because it should be crystal clear to the visitor what they have come for.

The switch from the old to the new website ensured that BetaPack went from an outdated and closed system to a more future-proof platform where marketing and sales talk together.

Technology supports sales

The collaboration has resulted in a digital transformation, where BetaPack has gone from a locked and outdated platform to a flexible website in HubSpot.

With the manual processes cleared out of the way, renewed profit has been created in the organization to focus on what creates the most value.

The result is a business where technology supports sales instead of slowing them down – and not least a website that is equipped to scale in line with the company's ambitions.

Cleaning up the visual noise

An upgrade that matches the ambitions

However, the task for BetaPack was not just about the technical engine room. Their visual identity has been modernized, reflecting their position as a professional and serious player in the packaging industry.

We made sure to incorporate the new visual identity across the website to create a consistent red thread that creates recognition across all pages.

The new design is built around intuitive modules that make complex product categories easy to decode. By bringing the human into focus and cleaning up the visual noise, BetaPack has gained a platform that is not only beautiful to look at, but also actively guides the customer towards the right solution.
