Migration of website, design expansion and SmartRules setup based on geolocation in HubSpot

Players 1st is a Danish SaaS company that specializes in measuring and improving member experiences in sports and leisure clubs. They do this through tailored survey solutions and an online dashboard that helps clubs retain and attract members, coaches and volunteers.

Players 1st wanted to migrate their website from Webflow to HubSpot CMS. HubSpot was particularly appealing because it allowed them to bring everything together in one platform. It also enabled them to take advantage of SmartRules, which use different criteria to personalize content and create a more relevant experience for visitors, leads and customers.

For Players 1st, this means their website now shows different product offerings, meeting booking modules and relevant case studies depending on where the user is located.

Players 1st gets a new website in HubSpot

In addition to the HubSpot migration and the SmartRules setup, we also expanded the Players 1st design with new templates, including their product pages. Players 1st had a tight deadline for both the migration and the design expansion, and we delivered in a way that left them highly satisfied.

Consistency across the entire experience

The light blue and orange color palette, the illustrative icons and the graphic, slightly off-dimension golf players are used throughout the different modules of the website to create a clear visual identity with simple but effective elements.

HubDB automatically retrieves and displays customer testimonials

As part of the SmartRules setup, we also configured HubDB, HubSpot’s database tool that provides a flexible way to manage data without extensive manual updates.

In this case, HubDB automatically pulls in customer testimonials and displays them dynamically.

The testimonials shown are based on geolocation, which means visitors see relevant customer stories from their own region or country. This creates a stronger user experience and enhances the company’s credibility.
